They can decide for themselves. The terrible thing now are those KET and PET exams trying to turn little kids into parrots. Of course they are useless, but the parents don't know that. And the tests are expensive, so if the kids fail, they feel shitty and their parents think que a lo mejor no vale para los estudios. It is very strange! I thought that the present generation of young parents all had English at school. Why are they still so easily duped by all the advertising crap? Lo normal es que la universidad a la que vas te pida uno... yo para La Haya me bastó con hacere la prueba del Erasmus en Madrid y aprobarla, jajaja.
